NiNi Harris is one of Cornerstone Travel Group founders and her passion of writing and history showcases in her books, publications and tours. Born and raised in the Gateway City and residing in St. Louis' Dutchtown neighborhood all of her life, NiNi's love for her city runs deep and personal. She has written over 18 comprehensive books on St. Louis' great architecture, cultures, neighborhoods and history. She has been called "St. Louis' greatest modern-day historian" as much of her time is spent sorting through crumbling records and documenting the history of our amazing City. Her works have explored the stories of immigrants coming to St. Louis and establishing the incredible patchwork of distinct cultural districts, many still intact and vibrant today. One of her most popular books, now in second edition, is "Downtown St. Louis" capturing the remarkable, alluring and ever-changing center of the city. Recently, NiNi would dig deeper into St. Louis' diverse African American history with her release of her book "Black St. Louis".
This Autumn, NiNi celebrates her latest book "St. Louis Hills: A Walk through History" capturing the South City neighborhoods history from religion to cultural diversity. NiNi also writes about St. Louis Hills as one of the greatest architectural neighborhoods of the city "noting the Germanic building traditions and the art deco styling of the early 20th century."
On every tour with NiNi, we guarantee you will learn something new (or old) about our magnificent Global City - you're invited!
