DAY ONE: Non-stop flight to NYC LaGuardia Airport. Upon early arrival, we will be whisked away to our hotel accommodations (for 3 nights) in the heart of Manhattan at Herald Square next to Macy’s. This afternoon after settling in, we will have a group welcome dinner at a local favorite.

DAY TWO: Our tour of one of the world’s most diverse and cultural cities will be an immersive experience throughout. We begin this morning in Times Square! Known for its neon lights and billboards, Times Square is New York’s most famous landmark and sits right smack in the center of New York City’s largest theater district - Broadway! We will learn the history of the square from it’s naming, through its revitalization of today. We will have time to enjoy the street musicians, restaurants, museums and shops while here. This afternoon, we continue north through the Upper West Side and Columbus Circle, then into Central Park with a stop at the John Lennon Memorial - Strawberry Fields. We continue through Harlem into The Bronx. Along the way, we will hear the history and stories of many of the iconic sites such as The Apollo Theater, The Dakota, Kennedy Center, American Museum of Natural History, and many more! We will then enter into The Bronx - known for its rich cultural history, vibrant neighborhoods, and unique attractions. We will pass St. Barnabas Hospital over to the Grand Concourse Art Deco historic district and also see Yankee Stadium. We will stop at the New York Botanical Garden ,one of the most renowned botanical gardens in the world. Here we will experience the Haupt Conservatory a stunning Victorian-style glasshouse opened in 1902. Later, we will have a delicious included dinner along famous Arthur Avenue - known as the Bronx “Little Italy”.

DAY THREE: Our exploration continues in Brooklyn - just across the East River and home to around 2.7 million people, making it the most populous borough. Brooklyn is a blend of neighborhoods, each with its own distinct character, ranging from the trendy, artistic areas like Williamsburg and DUMBO, to the more residential and historic enclaves of Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope. Today we will travel across the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge to explore these neighborhoods in detail. We will enjoy stops in the Greenpoint Polish neighborhood, Prospect Park, Fort Greene - the Brooklyn Navy Yard; walk on the promenade for the most spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Have time to experience Brooklyn’s international food scene for lunch. This evening, you’ll have free time for a Broadway Show and dinner on your own.

DAY FOUR: After having breakfast and checking out of our hotel, spend the morning to relax or explore on your own. We will then depart back to Brooklyn where we will experience the legendary and storied Coney Island, with its eccentric history, nostalgic quirky amusement park, and seaside attractions. It has been a popular destination for New Yorkers and tourists for over a century. Take a stroll along the beach and the famous boardwalk. Enjoy a delicious Coney Island hot dog at the original Nathan’s. Later this afternoon we will bid farewell to the Big Apple and transfer back to the airport for our nonstop flight back to St. Louis!
