Are you a Licensed and Insured tour company?Yes, we are! We are fully insured by Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Group biBERK Liability Insurance Company. We are licensed in the state of Missouri and are a Co-op Limited Liability Company (LLC). Our travelers can request copies of our current and active policies at anytime.

Do you offer room sharing service/option for solo travelers?We do not offer a sharing program for solo travelers. We only charge the other half of the hotel room price that has been split in the Double Room trip amount. Each journey has a Single Supplement additional charge shown at the top of the trip specific page.

Can I have my travel agent book a Cornerstone Journey for me?Yes, however, Cornerstone Journeys is a co-op travel group and our trips offered are non-commissionable.

Are your trips ADA Accessible?Our charters coaches are not ADA accessible, so you must be able to get on and off the coach unaided by Cornerstone Staff and Tour Host. If you need extra walking assistance, you may bring a walker that can be stowed in the lower luggage compartment. We do use all ADA accessible locations/attractions and vendors in the USA. If you have mobility issues, you should travel with a companion that is able to help you at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.

How do I make reservations?Each Journey and Day Excursion can be booked online by clicking the RESERVATION BUTTON while viewing the specific trip page. No credit card is required to make an online reservation. You may also call us to make a reservation at (314) 287-5333.

What are your Cancellation Policies for all trips?Each multi-day journey has a trip specific cancellation policy: They are set accordingly to vendor requirements and final payments. You can find the Deposit, Final Payment Date and Cancellation requirements on each trip specific page. The policy will also be mailed to you with your deposit/final statements. Day Trip Excursions cancellation policy: There is no cancellation or refunds for Day Trips. Due to our guest counts and vendor payments, we must secure your space well in advance. If you must cancel, you may transfer your reservation and funds individually to another person (please let us know the new guest's name and information in advance). Thank you for your understanding.

Do you offer Trip Cancellation Insurance Coverage?If you would like to secure your journey with a travel protection plan, insurance may be purchased as an option through any private travel agent, through a AAA membership, or with our partner at www.insuremytrip.com Any and all individual trip insurance plans purchased through third party suppliers are not affiliated with Cornerstone Journeys.

Special Requests (i/e; dietary, seating)If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know when making a reservation online or on the telephone. We cannot guarantee all dietary preferences, but will do our best by letting the vendors on your trip know in advance. If you have seating preferences (on the motor coach) due to sickness or health, please advise us and we will try to accommodate you.

When will I get the information about departure time and location, hotels, what to bring/wear, etc...?Multi-day Journeys: Upon making a reservation, you will receive an invoice/statement in the mail once your deposit/final payment is received. The information for your journey will be mailed approximately two weeks before your journey departure. Day Trip Excursions: Upon making a reservation, you will receive an invoice/statement in the mail once your payment is received. Also enclosed will be a letter/voucher with your chosen departure location and the departure time for your trip. You will not receive another reminder, so please mark your calendar(s) and keep your letter/voucher for your departure date.

Are gratuities included to the Tour Host and Motor Coach Driver?MULTI-DAY JOURNEY TRIPS: Gratuities are left to the discretion of our guests. How many people are on a Day Trip Excursion and/or Multi-Day Journey?Our standard journeys have 20-50 guests traveling on full size Motor Coaches that hold a maximum of 55 guests. We also have Small Group Departures with no more than 12-15 guests on smaller touring vans.

How many people are on a Day Trip Walking Tour?No more than 12 guests are reserved for our Day Trip Walking Tours.

Does the Motor Coach have a restroom onboard?Full size charter Motor Coaches are equipped with restrooms. We make frequent restroom stops, at two-hour intervals or less, for the comfort of all passengers. Our smaller group journeys are conducted on comfortable 12 to 15 passenger touring vans without restrooms, but do not include any far distance driving or itineraries.

What type of hotels are used and room type amenities?All accommodations are booked with 3 to 4 Star hotels (Hotels by Hilton, Marriott, Drury, Best Western or similar) and vetted by of Board of Directors. All hotel rooms are non-smoking. Rooms have ONE KING OR QUEEN BED, or TWO DOUBLE or QUEEN BEDS for our guests. Many hotels have swimming pools and most offer a continental or full breakfasts for our guests (see each Journey itinerary for inclusions).

What type of meals are included?Each multi-day Journey itinerary has specific included meals (see itinerary). Included Breakfasts Most itineraries will include breakfast at the hotel and served as continental or full breakfast depending on the hotel. Included Lunches can be boxed lunches or full lunches depending on the Journey itinerary. Included Dinners are usually two or three course meals with a choice of soup/salad, entrée (with sides), and dessert, with tea or coffee included. Most meals feature a good assortment of poultry, meat, fish and vegetarian options and you will be given choices at all meals.

Traveler and Guest Health, Etiquette and ConductYou have joined a group journey to enjoy. We expect our guests to have common sense and courtesy to one another as well as Cornerstone Tour Hosts and Motor Coach Operators. Please remember to: 1) Always be punctual for the group 2) Use personal electronic devices and phones quietly while onboard. Turn off any noises (ringers/games/notifications). 3) Respect your seat mates next around you. Don't set your seat back too far without asking your neighbor behind you first. 4) One of the joys of coach travel is getting to experience different cultures and lifestyles at your destination. Remember the rule "When in Rome". 4) Follow all instructions of your Tour Host and Motor coach Operators, Cornerstone has zero tolerance for abusive, vulgar or offensive behavior while on a journey. We reserve the right to excuse/remove any guest that is causing any other guest(s) or staff to be uncomfortable at anytime (regardless of location) and said guests forfeits the remainder of their trip and paid monies. 5) Stay healthy while traveling by washing your hands often and frequently, using hand sanitizers, and not traveling at all if you are sick. 6) Lastly, Have fun! Keep an open mind and journey safe, healthy and happy!
