DAY EXCURSION RESERVATIONS POLICIES: Full Payment Per Person is due when making a reservation and you will receive an invoice/statement in the mail with your boarding pass, your chosen departure location and the departure time for your trip closer to the departure date. You will not receive another reminder, so please mark your calendar(s) and keep your letter/voucher for your departure date. .
DAY EXCURSION CANCELLATIONS: There is no cancellation or refunds for Day Trips. Due to our guest counts and vendor payments, we must secure your space well in advance. If you must cancel, you may transfer your reservation and funds individually to another person (please let us know the new guest's name and information in advance). Thank you for your understanding.

You may have heard of all the hype of St. Louis’ new Armory and Foundry entertainment, shopping and food venues! Located in Midtown St. Louis, these two enormous real estate districts are a tribute to St. Louis past and now present. The historic renovations and reinventions, have revitalized Midtown south bringing a lively new life to the area. Come learn the history and experience the revival yourself! We will also have time to explore and shop the largest IKEA in the country that anchors the district. Lunch is on your own to enjoy what your taste buds desire in the Foundry’s Food Hall

Classic Art Deco St. Louis, October 24, 2024 $97.00 per person
During the 1920s and 1930s, St. Louis’s talented architects and builders used the then new Art Deco style to create monumental buildings in Downtown St. Louis with sweeping, curving walls and glamorous terrazzo staircases. In South City, they merged the smooth lines, the soft colors and the sunbelt themes of the Art Deco movement with the German building traditions of South St. Louis to create the distinctive and enchanting St. Louis Hills Neighborhood. Along with showcasing the City’s extraordinary Art Deco architecture in both Downtown and in St. Louis Hills, this tour will feature dramatic, historical-themed murals painted during the Great Depression by WPA artists. Lunch will be served at the popular Dado’s Cafe in South Hampton. This Day Trip Excursion does require some walking.

There’s always something new and exciting to see in The Gateway City and today we plan to showcase some fun and delicious stops. Explore the new Provisions St. Louis in the Central West End - filled with home and room goods, games, art, books and gifts. As top at the new Neon Museum of St. Louis in Midtown will light up the day with hundreds of preserved, restored and new neon signs! In the Morganford District a stop at Road Crew Coffee and Cycles - a combination of bikes, yummy coffee and treats make this place a unique experience. The Garden District STL shop on South Grand - we will see handmade items from Saint Louis & regional artisans in a space full of “cool vibes”. An included lunch in the Grove District will be at the Sultan Mediterranean restaurant serving delicious dishes.
Old Fashioned St. Louis Christmas Mystery, December 11, 2024 $109.00 per person
Join NiNi Harris in exploring Christmas Past in St. Louis – by taking a walk through an elegant Victorian-era mansion, now a museum, decked with festive decorations. See trays of poinsettias ready to dress many a holiday table. Sample a variety of holiday celebrations from through the decades that reflect St. Louis’s rich ethnic heritage. Learn about Christmases from St. Louis Pasts, from the Spanish Colonial era to Christmas of 1944, when families waited for news from loved ones overseas. A delicious luncheon will be served at the Lemp Mansion in South St. Louis.

‘Twas the “Mystery Day Trip” before Christmas, when all through the city Holiday favorites were stirring, possibly even a mouse. The Motor Coach was warm and cozy and the travelers were nestled all snug in their seats, while the sights and sounds of the season came alive along the decorated streets. We hope you can join us!
